Who are you, what you do and who you serve?

My Name is Deanna Musto and I own Reveal Event Decor. We serve couples getting married and people looking to throw amazing events.


What services do you offer?

We offer decor for your event and options for setup and tear down. We also have an event space downtown with Rudy's Eat and Drink. Working With Rudys and MDS group catering saves couples 15 percent off rentals and no delivery fee is charged on the rentals.



How did you get started in the wedding industry, and what inspired you to start a rental company?

In 2019 I got married and was so lost on where to start. Working with a planner I was able to organize my vision and begin finding vendors. I fell in love with the process and realized that I would enjoy being a part of an industry that made people's visions come to life. I also wanted to make sure that our couples felt supported by guiding them throughout the process and making each interaction feel personal.


What do you enjoy most about working in the wedding industry and serving couples on their special day?

My favorite part of working in the industry is getting to know new people and feel supported by other small companies. We all strive for the same goal and that's to help out our couples in any way possible.



What do you believe is the most important consideration when couples are choosing their rentals?

It is important to consider space for your guests to eat and be able to enjoy conversation with other guests. Decor is amazing and can absolutely elevate your event but there is such a thing as too much.


What is the ideal timeline for couples to book your services in advance of their wedding day?

We prefer giving enough notice to make sure we have inventory. Ideally 5-6 months is great but we can accommodate last minute rentals too.



What is the best piece of advice you would offer to couples planning their wedding?

Try not to stress and enjoy the process. If it is in the budget to get a Wedding Planner, consider it as they really make sure your day runs smoothly allowing you to take in the day and truly enjoy it. If not, remember that no one will ever notice the little hiccups or change in plans, sometimes that makes for the most amazing outcomes.


Can you share your favorite wedding trend or design idea that you're currently excited about?

I think being bold and unafraid makes your wedding a little different and stand out from other weddings. Bold colours and dreamy candles!



How do you stand out?

We never over book a weekend. I believe that this allows us to never be rushed with a couple and an event. I want every interaction to feel important no matter the size of the rental. We also always try to get in whatever a couple needs even if we don't carry the items. We will either source it from another vendor or personally purchase the item to have for the event.


Anything else you would like to mention?

Getting married is exciting and the experience is special. Start off with a reasonable budget and work within that budget. Try not to sweat the small stuff and allow the day to flow organically. It truly goes by fast so enjoy it!
