Stunning Rustic Wedding at Hawthorn Estates

It was an absolute privilege and honour to be part of Jocelyn and Chris's wedding at the breathtaking Hawthorn Estates. This wedding was extra special because Jocelyn isn’t just any bride...she’s one of our very own lead planners! We’ve heard her dream about this day for years, and seeing it finally come to life was truly heartwarming. Jocelyn was glowing with joy the entire day, her radiant smile showing just how much love and excitement filled the air.


The ceremony took place on Marriage Hill on a beautiful June afternoon, with a stunning wooden arch adorned with gorgeous floral arrangements and soft drapery. It was the perfect backdrop for such an intimate moment. A fun and unique touch greeted guests right at the beginning of the aisle...beer buckets filled with refreshments, allowing everyone to stay cool and relaxed while witnessing the magic unfold.


A highlight of the ceremony was, without a doubt, the couple’s three adorable huskies strutting down the aisle! Their presence added such warmth and personality to the ceremony, perfectly reflecting Jocelyn and Chris’s love for their fur babies.


Inside Hawthorn Estates, the rustic charm of the venue was beautifully complemented by the carefully curated decor. The place settings were a dream: wooden charger plates paired with terracotta napkins, copper cutlery, and clear water goblets. Each table had a trio of floating candles surrounded by delicate greenery, along with clear votives that cast a soft, romantic glow. Jocelyn's planning and hard work was evident through every thoughtful detail she had planned.


Jocelyn’s love for her pups was woven into every detail of the day. From the huskies walking down the aisle to their inclusion in photo time, they were celebrated at every turn. The bar featured a charming sign with signature drinks named after each of the dogs, and guests were delighted to find custom coasters with the huskies’ faces on them as keepsakes. The cutest touch? Three husky cake toppers, adding a fun and personal flair to the wedding cake!


We are so grateful to all the incredible vendors who helped bring this special day to life for Jocelyn and Chris. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments...just like Jocelyn had always dreamed of. Congratulations to the happy couple!
