Samantha & Kevin: A Winter Wedding at The Forks & Gusto North

Samantha and Kevin's wedding day was pure perfection: deep reds, flickering candlelight, and the easy joy of two people who clearly adore each other.


The Ceremony: The Forks

The Forks' industrial-meets-historic bones gave us the perfect canvas for Samantha and Kevin's cozy ceremony...exposed brick, timber trusses, and string lights overhead, with a disco ball hinting at the celebration to come. We lined the aisle with candlelight and clusters of burgundy florals, letting the room's natural texture do most of the talking.



The Florals

The thread tying the whole day together was the colour palette: rich aubergine, wine, and crimson, accented with blush and warm apricot. Samantha's bouquet was a showstopper...garden roses, ranunculus, scabiosa, and gerbera daisies, with one perfect apricot ranunculus tucked in as a soft surprise.



The Reception: Gusto North

From The Forks, the celebration moved to Gusto North, where the design shifted into dinner-party glamour. Long tables in soft taupe linens were anchored by tall black candlesticks and low floral arrangements. Round tables echoed the same palette, finished with table numbers and votive candles.


The colour scheme carried through to the paper goods too, a bold welcome sign and easy-to-navigate seating chart greeted guests as they arrived.



Warm, romantic, and just a little bit moody... proof that a January wedding can feel as lush as one in midsummer. Huge congratulations to Samantha and Kevin. It was an honour to help bring your day to life. Thank you to all the amazing vendors who made this day one to remember:
