Courtney and Ryan's wedding at the Assiniboine Park Pavilion was nothing short of magical. Their celebration was a perfect blend of class, timeless elegance, and simple beauty, set against the backdrop of an early June day. The colour palette for the event was thoughtfully chosen, with pastel blue as the primary hue, accented by soft shades of orange, yellow, and green. The result was a dreamy ambiance that perfectly complemented the season.
The couple exchanged vows on the patio of the pavilion, surrounded by the park's natural beauty. Courtney and Ryan stood before a breathtaking arch made entirely of delicate baby's breath, creating a soft and ethereal backdrop for their heartfelt vows. The aisle was lined with beautiful floral arrangements that echoed the pastel palette, adding a touch of romance to every step they took. These arrangements were later repurposed as centerpieces for the guest tables at the reception, a sustainable and beautiful way to bring the ceremony’s charm into the reception space.
For the reception, we created an intimate and inviting atmosphere with one long harvest table placed in the center of the room for Courtney, Ryan, and their closest friends. This table was adorned with a collection of bud vases, each holding a single bloom in pastel hues, along with blue taper candles and ribbed votives. The combination of these elements created a romantic, candlelit glow that was simply mesmerizing.
The guest tables featured the repurposed aisle arrangements, surrounded by more blue taper candles and ribbed votives, tying together the colour palette beautifully. The soft blues, oranges, yellows, and greens blended seamlessly, making the entire room feel warm, welcoming, and utterly enchanting.
From the moment the ceremony began to the final dance, Courtney and Ryan’s wedding day was filled with joy, laughter, and love. Every detail, from the baby’s breath arch to the stunning floral centerpieces, came together perfectly to create a day that was as unique and special as the couple themselves.
