A Classy & Elegant Cocktail Reception at the Winnipeg Art Gallery

We absolutely loved working with Nicole and Kirk to design and plan their timeless cocktail reception at the Winnipeg Art Gallery. Their celebration was the perfect blend of sophistication and fun, creating an atmosphere that was both classy and elegant.


Nicole and Kirk tied the knot in San Francisco, surrounded by their closest friends and family. However, they wanted to share the joy of their marriage with all their friends back home in Winnipeg. They envisioned a laid-back yet stylish gathering, with a focus on mingling, enjoying delicious food, sipping signature cocktails, and dancing the night away—and their reception delivered exactly that.


Before the reception began, Nicole and Kirk headed to the Thomas Hinds Sampling Room for a unique photo session. With drinks and cigars in hand, their photos are the epitome of timeless elegance—absolutely stunning! The Sampling Room proved to be a fantastic choice for capturing intimate, classy moments.


The Winnipeg Art Gallery set the perfect stage for the celebration. To create a warm and inviting atmosphere, we incorporated a mix of lounge seating, cocktail tables, and round tables.


  • Cocktail Tables: Each was adorned with a single bud vase featuring white blooms and fresh greenery, accented with gold votives for a subtle touch of glamour. Fresh Greenery was tied around the linens for a more elevated look.

  • Round Tables: These showcased trios of bud vases, clear taper holders with LED candles, and more gold votives, creating a soft and romantic glow throughout the space.


This combination of minimalist yet elegant decor perfectly complemented the modern backdrop of the WAG.
