Who are you, what you do and who you serve?
My name is Xlarience, Owner and Creative Director for Xlarience Jacinto Films
What services do you offer?
I offer a cinematic take on wedding days to create beautifully crafted wedding films for couples to enjoy for the rest of their lives. In short, I'm a wedding videographer.
How did you get started in the wedding industry, and what inspired you to become a wedding videographer?
A long long time ago, my parents were actually wedding videographers back home (Philippines) and I guess that influenced me to become one but mostly it was my love of movies and my constant urge to create something visually that is pleasing to the eye. This became my outlet to do that.
What do you enjoy most about working in the wedding industry and serving couples on their special day?
Where do I start with this one? The look on the couple's faces when their most awaited day is finally happening. Their vows, their tender moments during the ceremony and of course being given the chance to tell the story of their wedding day through my vision.
What do you believe is the most important consideration when couples are choosing a videographer?
Their videographers taste in music. Some couples might oversee it, so knowing that the videographer knows how to pick a song for your wedding film really makes it easier for couples to choose who to hire.
What is the ideal timeline for couples to book your services in advance of their wedding day?
A year in advance is ideal for booking, giving us time to meet and for couples to explore my work to see if my storytelling style aligns with their vision.
What is the best piece of advice you would offer to couples planning their wedding?
Get to know your vendors, Make sure their vision aligns with yours and if the vibe is right, then they're probably the right fit for you.
Can you share your favorite wedding trend or design idea that you're currently excited about?
All black design and outfits. I don't think a lot of people like this but it's just so cool to see. I've had the pleasure to film some weddings with this style and it always just makes me feel some type of way.
How do you stand out?
I really just try to make my client's wedding film their own. I like combining sentiment and entertainment. And with some good music, I'm able to tell the couple's story.
Anything else you would like to mention?
I would just like to thank everyone who's been supporting me throughout the years and have helped me master my craft. It's been a good journey so far and I'm looking forward to seeing how the next wedding season goes!
