Who are you, what you do and who you serve?

Living Wall Magic is Winnipeg’s first living champagne wall. A concept that started in Italy with wine windows and now it’s evolved into green walls or floral walls at events that serve champagne through the wall through surprise little windows when you ring a bell. Some clients serve beverages or party favours to hand out through the wall. We’ve even had cookies and beef jerky served! We love to work with our clients to get creative and have fun with this concept.

What services do you offer? 

We provide various configurations of the wall depending on the venue and guest count. Clients must provide the product being handed through. We can create custom signage and decorate the wall for an additional charge. We provide staffing, or the venue depending on their policies can use their own servers.

How did you get started in the wedding industry, and what inspired you to start Winnipeg's 1st Living Champagne Wall?

The wedding industry followed after our corporate launch at St. Boniface Hospital’s Rose Soiree in the fall of 2023. It was a bit of a passion project that turned into something bigger and we’re here for it!

What do you enjoy most about working in the wedding industry and serving couples on their special day?

We love seeing the reactions from the couple when they first see the wall on their special day and interact with it. The guests have a blast with it too and we love seeing the smiles and laughter and everyone taking videos. Just tag us @livingwallmagic !

What is the ideal timeline for couples to book your services in advance of their wedding day?

Anytime! We’re always taking bookings. It’s a first come, first served basis. So as soon as you know your date, let us know and we will let you know the availability and work with you to plan the perfect experience!

What is the best piece of advice you would offer to couples planning their wedding?

Live in the moment, don’t get caught up in all the noise. It’s your day, your memory and do what you want. Pick what’s important to you and don’t overspend on things you don’t care about or need. Simplicity is underrated and you’ll be happy to have money for a honeymoon or your home over one day.

Can you share your favorite wedding trend or design idea that you're currently excited about?

Honestly, shout out to our friend Lauren Wycoff who does incredible video for weddings and events. Her style is incredible, her video is a mix of iPhone and camera, she adds a behind the scene feel and each video has such authenticity and intrigue. She’s incredible to work with and so much fun! So if having killer video is a trend, sign us up!

How do you stand out?

We are Winnipeg’s first and only living champagne wall. The original green design with totally hidden openings. We delight guests with a unique experience they talk about long after the event. We put the magic in Living Wall Magic and have fun doing what we do!
