Who are you, what you do and who you serve?
We are a new seasonal wedding & event venue currently under construction, opening June 2021.
- How and when did you get started in the industry?
AJ coordinated a few weddings for coworkers and friends of friends and loved helping people have the happiest day. We decided to build a venue in 2018 on a piece of property we already owned. We chose a pole building with an auxiliary "bridal" building because we had not seen anything like it in the Winnipeg area, and it was what we could afford to build.
- Where are you based and where do you meet with clients?
We are based 25 minutes North of Winnipeg on Highway 59. We are currently meeting virtually until restrictions are lifted. We will resume in-person tours when permitted.
What services do you offer?
At this time, we offer a basic venue rental which includes; private use of entire 70-acre property, use of assorted decor, fire table area with seating, table and chairs, cocktail tables, glasses for the cocktail house, patio furniture, wheelchair accessible, heated slab in the pavilion, patio heaters, folding wood chairs for the ceremony, bartenders, free parking, catering prep room and we will take care of garbage and recycling. All coordination and vendors are to be brought in.
- How far in advance do your clients typically book you?
1 to 2 years.
- How do you stand out?
Our location is fantastic. Our aesthetic is new and fresh. Our goal is to be inclusive, transparent, and accommodating.
- Anything else you would like to mention?
We understand that a venue rental is a big investment and that couples want to spend as much time there as possible, so in 2022 we will have 2 bridal lounges (one more of a feminine "get ready room" on the ground level and one more laid back room upstairs) that are included when renting our venue.
