Vendor Love: Tiara Nicole Photography

- Who are you, what you do and who you serve?

I'm an easy-going, light-loving photographer who is always up for a laugh and down for an adventure. My couples are laid back, fun-loving and are always looking forward to busting a move on the dance floor.

- How and when did you get started in the industry?

I started shooting weddings straight out of high school. My dream was to do fashion or commercial photography initially, but as soon as I assisted my first wedding, I was hooked!

- Where are you based and where do you meet with clients?

Currently, I am based out of my home, and always up for a coffee shop meet up.

- What services do you offer?

Full Wedding Day Photography, as well as micro weddings and elopements. I also love doing newborn sessions! But I don't really focus there.

- What is the biggest trend you have seen since being in the industry?

Blush everything. Ha! No, I think one thing that has really changed is how much of their own personalities they put into their wedding to make it different and memorable for their guests. Brides & Grooms put way more thought into details.

- Which venue do you work in the most frequently?

Hmmm, I don't think there is one. My favourite venue is ANY of the multiple locations at Assiniboine Park. The Pavillion, The English Gardens, The Qualico Centre, the Zoo. The options are all so different, so unique but all equally amazing! A close second is Starlit Point, although I'm also very excited about a few new venues coming to Manitoba in 2021.

- How far in advance do your clients typically book you?

Usually a year - 6months in advance.

- Can you give us one of your industry tips that brides or grooms don't often know?

Don't have your entire bridal party get ready in a hotel room. (A large Bridal suite would be an exception) Either a family home or renting an Airbnb are much better places. There is way more space for everyone to get ready, space for the multiple vendors that will be there, as well as space for the family to relax when they are ready and might be waiting. And the lighting is usually, if not always better.

- How you do stand out?

I'd like to think I stand out in the vibrancy and crispness of my photos. Maybe my nerdiness? haha

Anything else you would like to mention?

I just love weddings and people in love! I love being able to help my couples every step of the way and just seriously enjoy what I do.
