Vendor Love: Moore Photography

Updated: Feb 6

We love the opportunity to work with Curtis from Moore Photography! He has an amazing personality, and he will make you feel extremely comfortable.

Here are a few of the weddings we have done together and keep reading for some more info on his business!

We officiated this beauty at St. Boniface Golf Club.

Curtis captured the styled shoot after Engaged WPG at the Fort Garry Hotel.

We also worked together to plan this winter wedding!

Who are you, what you do and who you serve? At Moore Photography, I know that you want your wedding photography to be the envy of all your friends and family. In order to do that, you need unique, striking, and bold wedding photography that focuses on the real stories of your wedding day, not just the predictable photos. You need a guide to help you get the most of your wedding and not just a wedding photographer. The problem is that most wedding photography looks the same and can be predictable, which will make you feel frustrated and bored when searching for a wedding photographer. I believe that it's wrong to settle for boring photos, because your wedding needs to reflect who you are and what makes you unique. You deserve more than to just to be shoehorned into a "style".

Every wedding is different, your wedding is different, I understand you want to be seen as you. - How and when did you get started in the industry? In 2007 after my daughter Bethany was born... I realized (again) how much I love photography and telling stories.   - Where are you based and where do you meet with clients? Based in Winnipeg, Manitoba.  I have a home studio to meet clients but these days we do video chats.

- What services do you offer?

Wedding, Elopement, & Engagement Photography... I offer family photography too and work with my past wedding couples as their families grow:) - What is the biggest trend you have seen since being in the industry? I can't say one specific thing, they change from year to year.  I would say first looks and Friday/Weekday weddings. - Which venue do you work in the most frequently? This changes year to year... one year I will shoot 6 weddings at the Hotel Fort Garry and then the next I'll shoot just as many at the Gates on Roblin.

- How far in advance do your clients typically book you? 1 to 1.5 years out. - Can you give us one of your industry tips that brides or grooms don't often know? Try to be yourself and completely present on your wedding day. - How do you stand out? I push myself to learn more and more about photography every day.  I work hard to deliver outstanding and meaningful photos for ALL of my clients while giving them exceptional customer service and delivering a tangible product of their memories that exceeds their expectations.
