A Blue-and-White Garden Wedding at Clear Lake

Sela and Liam’s wedding at Clear Lake was the perfect summer celebration, filled with beautiful blue-and-white details, thoughtful personal touches, and lots of nods to their love of travel.

From the tables named after some of their favourite places around the world to the chinoiserie-inspired details throughout the reception, every part of the day felt personal to them.

A First Look on the Dock

Before the day got busy, Sela and Liam shared a quiet first look out on the dock at Clear Lake, followed by private vows between just the two of them. It was such a beautiful and meaningful way to start the day together before celebrating with their guests.

The Wishing Well

Their ceremony at The Wishing Well was absolutely beautiful, with a grounded floral arch creating a stunning focal point at the front. Lush white hydrangeas, roses, and powder-blue delphinium lined the aisle, creating a soft and romantic garden feel that complemented the natural surroundings perfectly.

A Blue-and-White Reception

The reception took place under a clear-top tent, allowing the beautiful surroundings to be part of the celebration all evening.

Cane-back chairs, blue-and-white toile linens, dusty blue napkins, and gorgeous floral arrangements created the perfect garden-inspired look. Baby’s breath and greenery were suspended overhead, while low floral arrangements kept the tables beautiful without blocking conversation.

The bar was another fun detail, featuring a model sailboat with the sails as the bar menu, crystal lamp, and a sign that read, "The drinks are on us, the hangover is on you".

Guests enjoyed signature drinks throughout the evening, including a French 75, limoncello soda, and Aperol spritzes.

The Personal Details

Some of our favourite details were the ones that made the wedding feel so uniquely Sela and Liam. Each table was named after a place Sela and Liam had travelled to, an oar was used as their guest book and personalized matchboxes served as guest place cards at each setting.

It was such a fun wedding to be part of, and we loved seeing how Sela and Liam incorporated their personalities, travels, and love of Clear Lake into their day!
