When we were approached by the Gates on Roblin to take part in their inspiration gallery, we couldn't resist by jumping on board.

We were asked to style/design three tables, one modern, one vintage and one classic/romantic. We were also partnered with a Little Flower Shop and Simply Perfect Decor to complete this vision.

The classic romantic table below features white floral charger plates, a white lace overlay, dusty rose napkins (knot fold) and simple white chair covers. We complimented the table with gold cutlery from Bel Ayre Rentals, and individual mini cakes from Stephanie Anne Cakes. Yummi blush taper candles completed the center of the table, a few sprigs of greenery and rectangular menu cards from Karta House were the perfect accent. We also used the Charlotte gold rimmed glassware from C & T Rentals for an added romantic touch.

The modern table was a bit edgy and un-conventional. We used a new linen brought in by Simply Perfect Decor, black with gold swirls. We layered on the gold charger plate combining a rectangular folded napkins, a square salad plate from IKEA and a triangular black with gold accent menu card from Karta House. We did red roses for a bold pop of color on the black/gold base. We also added the new velo cutlery from C & T rentals, and some very modern dark votive holders to complete the look. If there is one thing that you can't get enough of on the tables, it's candles in my opinion! We chose a centerpiece with some height, without blocking your guests views of each other. We completed the look with 5 ghost chairs from Little Flower Shop for some very modern inspiration!

The vintage table had an icy blue velvet linen, which was a huge hit! We added a tall silver candelabra complete with ivory and peach toned florals with hints of babies breath. We also used greenery on the charger plates to give the peony shaped menu card from Karta House some depth. Complete with cylinder vases filled with babies breath topped with floating candles, mercury silver votive holders and silver cutlery it had all of the vintage vibes. We added mahogany chivari chairs with floral accents to tie everything together and give the table a bit of a modern pop of color.

The head table had a white chiffon skirt, TONS of cylinder candles, gold cutlery from C & T Rentals and gold beaded charger plates. We also used a dusty blue napkin with a simple green leaf place card with gold writing. We wanted to showcase a realistic, affordable, popular vision for the head table. We added a few simple votives for a pop of candle light on both tiers keeping it simple so your guests can see your faces during the reception!

Huge shout out to the fabulous Mandy Wright Photography, who was not only a vendor in the show, but managed to capture amazing photos of all of the inspirational tables.

If you need a bit of help tying together your style/design we can add this on to any planning package. Check out the last wedding that we coordinated at The Gates for even more ballroom inspiration!
