Candace and Craig were the type of couple that just made you feel like you were part of their family. They were so deeply in love, after being together for nearly 2 decades, and you could just sense their bond and respect for one another.

They exchanged their vows in the Cresent Fort Rouge Church, with a personalized ceremony completed by an elder from their community. They incorporated a star blanket ceremony and it was so beautiful and powerful. Their children stood up next to them during the ceremony, once again reinforcing their bond and family unity.

They had a huge wedding party and a guest list of 220 to fill the ballroom at the Metropolitan Event Center in downtown Winnipeg. They incorporated gold accents and bold pops of color into their decor.

Rather than doing a traditional bouquet toss, they gave the bouquet to the couple in attendance that was married longest. There was a long list of couples married more than 10, 20, 30 and 40 years. The couple walking away with the bouquet was married over 50 years. The strong sense of unity and family surrounding this couple will surely help guide them through their married years.

They were surrounded by family and friends from all over the province to help send them off into married life.

Huge shout out to all of these vendors to helped make this day possible:
